The Lynden Junior Livestock Show and Sale will be held on Friday, August 16th at 1:00 pm in the Henry Jansen Barn on the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds.
Announcements
NEW Time to Get Your Tags - Advisors and Leaders, it is time to request and pick up your tags! To get your tags email info@lyndenjrlivestock.org with the amount of tags you need for each species and your option for pick up. Please have one advisor/leader email for your entire club or chapter. Pick up options include:
1) Youth Fair
2) Laurel Farm and Western Supply
3)Coordinate with Whitnee, Chelsey or Rhonda for pick up
NEW Beef Tagging Date - Due to late tag arrival this year, beef will have the same tagging date as all other species - JUNE 15. This change will be in effect for this year only. Please see all tagging dates listed below.
NEW 4H and FFA Record Book - 4H and FFA will fill out the same record book this year. Please see the link to the left as well as the score sheet for grading.
NEW Add-On Form - See our new Add-On Form at the link to the left. Only print and utilize this form. Do not use old Add on forms.
NEW Haul Out Form - This is a new requirement this year. Please look at our new Haul Out form. This will need to be filled out by all LJLS tagged animals that are shown but do not go through the sale. This is also required for all livestock that are placed on our butcher list that did not go through the sale.
New Photo Upload - No photo upload will be required this year, however we do recommend that you upload a picture that will be seen by buyers that utilize the online add-on program. It will look better to buyers if you have a photo of you and your animal uploaded. See the instructions for how to upload new photos of your animal to use (instructions below or link to the left). Please picture a clean animal and background and be in your 4H or FFA attire. We recommend having this picture uploaded by July 1.
Registration Directions
Before you register
Animals must be tagged
Have a photo ready to upload that shows you and your animal or upload a picture later to be displayed for online add-ons (optional but recommended)
Be ready to fill out a W-9 with your ss#
Be ready to pay your registration/tagging fee with a card at check out
Use a reliable email that you can receive your 1099's at the end of the year
Have something that you can write your username and password on so you can access your account later.

Registration Deadlines
June 15 (this year only) - Beef
June 15 - Sheep, Goats, and Swine
June 15 - Turkeys (tagged at weigh in)
June 15 (preferred) but will accept until July 25 - Chickens, Rabbits (tagged at weigh in)
We are a non-profit group of 4-H leaders and FFA Advisors that organizes and manages the auction. Each year, almost 200 Whatcom County youth participate in selling their animal at this auction. Students must manage, feed, keep records, weigh, care for, fit, and show their animal before and at the Northwest Washington Fair.
Upload photos to Lynden jr livestock Sale:
Click “upload your photos of your animals”
Sign in with previous account to register animals
Confirm information is correct
Select "view/print transactions made by this exhibitor"
Select "upload files"
Add photos
Pre-registration for Buyers directions:
Click on Online Add-On’s and Buyer Preregistration
Click “Login”, Search for your name from the drop-down menu. If you used a business name please search for the business name.
If your name appears request your unique security code. You will receive a text message with a 4-digit security code that will be your code for the duration of the auction
If your name does not appear click “Not listed above? Register Here”

Online Add-on’s directions:
Click “On line Add-On’s & Buyer Preregistration”
Click “Login” and follow preregistration direction
Click on filter for the names of the students that you want to sponsor.
Click on the student that you want to sponsor
Click the green add-on button at the bottom of the screen
Follow the prompts
Repeat for more add-ons
Click shopping cart to pay.
